FAQ
What gutter (inside margin) does it use?
The official minimum inside margin for your page count (0.375" for 24-150 pages up to 0.875" for 701-828 pages) plus 0.125" extra. Odd pages have the gutter on the left, even pages on the right.
Should I choose bleed?
Line templates do not need bleed. Choose bleed only if you plan to add artwork that runs to the page edge. With bleed the page is 0.125" wider and 0.25" taller than the trim size.
Why is the minimum line thickness 0.75 pt?
KDP asks for lines of at least 0.75 point (0.01", 0.3 mm). Thinner lines may not print.
Why does the blank template have a "Notes" header?
KDP limits runs of completely blank pages. A small header makes sure every page has printed content.
Is my file sent anywhere?
No. The PDF is built in your browser and saved directly to your device.
